Miscellany

The kids really enjoy our wooden wagon. Especially when they can drag their little brother around. He doesn't seem to mind.

It almost like he's asking for heeelllppp! Nah, he likes it.

Joe is getting a little big for Aubrey.

This is what happens when you leave Tobasco in the fridge for way too long.

Progressive Picture

It started with a picture of Joe and I, then it grew little by little. This was completely not planned.

Cute pictures from the great outdoors (front yard)

We have the heeby-jeebies!

This has been a particularly active spider year. Here are some of the recent additions to our garage.

This was a good sized brown recluse spider. Brian found it when he was cleaning out the garage.

Brian found this big guy Sunday morning in the garage. He called it "freakishly large". Its probably a little larger than the palm of my hand. At first we thought it was a terantula, but we are thinking wolf spider now.
Don't worry friends, neither one of these spiders lasted much longer than it took to take a picture of them.

The rains came down...

And the gutters filled with rainwater. How could we keep from splashing around? We all had a wonderful time.

Prayerful

Yesterday in primary Aubrey gave the opening prayer. I heard from her teacher that she did very well. As she neared the end of the prayer, she could tell Aubrey wasn't sure what to say exactly. When something finally did come out, Aubrey ended with, "... and please bless us that we might be... learnful." Good word. Maybe it will be adopted as a new word into the dictionary this year. Gold star little one!

Be Bop

When I was younger, I would go visit my Grandparents at their home. They would usually have interesting "toys" to play with. I remember that they got this battery powered flower in a flower pot with a guitar that would react to sound. Whenever you played the music it would twist, turn, and bebop with the music instantly.
Well, I just discovered that I have one of those in my house. Anytime there is a song, a beat or rythem Joe will suddenly start gently beboping without warning weather he is eating or playing. I had no idea he even paid attention to my la de da do da bum bum bum etc. But when the music starts he wiggles. When it stops he stops. Same expression on his face, same way he plays with his toy, just a little wiggle bop. Funny.

DRYER IS FIXED!!!

Yahoo! My dryer is working again! Oh. I guess that means laundry. Ok.
